We drove out Farrington, and the clouds had settled in the hilltops. My little camera phone just didn't capture it. We drove past Dillingham Air Field where they were pulling gliders around, and in the mornings they take sky divers. George and I were going to skydive while we were here but you have to be 18.
This was like a palm tree plantation. It must be a coconut grove. It was on the property of Dillingham Ranch, an equestrian center and polo field. It was fancy.
We stopped at a beach and instantly saw turtles. According to our beach map this is the hammerhead shark breading ground beach....but all we saw was turtles, and one crazy windsurfer.
As we walked along this beach we counted 13 sea turtles in the shallows.
The boys were playing with the crabs. Every beach has crabs. Here it is......the end of the road. The end.
Great posts...can't wait for you to make it into a book.
