His first broken arm came at afternoon recess at school. He tried to be brave and go back to class but when the tears wouldn't stop, his teacher sent him to the office.
He fell on his palm and the impact radiated up his arm and broke the bone right under his elbow.
The x-rays confirmed the doctor's suspicions. They really hurt him- all the crazy positions he had to be in.
He was a trooper though, and was glad to have it secure.
It wasn't long til the newness wore off, and he wished it was better, but I think we are pretty lucky that he ended up with a soft cast that we could take off and wash under. I also think we are extremely lucky that this is the first time he has broken anything with his knack for falling and getting hurt!
